You can do it Liz!

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

 Pain is good. Pain means progress. Pain means your muscles are getting toned. I remember that pain when I began P.E. It lasts for like a week or two. You can't walk right, sit down right, hell, you can't even laugh without feeling pain in your ribs and stomach. But now the pain is long gone thanks to constant training and running. :P

6' 0"
123lbs on a good day. 117-118 on a bad day.

My weight can fluxuate by 3 lbs in one day. One morning I weighed in at 118, then after work and dinner, I weighed in at 122. Next morning was about 119.

This morning was 120.

Good luck, Liz.

Good on you Liz, and good luck. After a lifetime of shopping in the big and tall section I'm doing a Slim Fast/DDR plan. If I can give up my usual buffet breakfast then anything's possible.

i dont really hit the forums much, but i reckon i have a story worth sharing.

a friend of mine i was in boarding school with, fella by the name of james, weighed about 90-100 [198-220.2 lb] kilos and is about 6 foot tall, over the course of our summer holidays last year, which lasts for six weeks, he ran 6 k's every day and swam three [3.73 and 1.86 miles respectivly] and ate pretty much anything to give him enough energy for this, so high carbs, very high. when he got back to school he weighed 78 kilos [171 lb's]

there were many double takes for the first few days at school, on a happy final note james is now an international grade rower and will be in the worlds this july in spain

thats a total weight loss of like 49 pounds in six weeks

Your summer vacation only lasts 6 weeks? What kind of school do you go to?

Whoa! That's quite a story. He went from lightweight to cruiserweight and is now fit! If I had time I could do that too. But instead of gaining weight and tone I'd lose weight and gain tone. I'm like 10 pounds over my height and age limit. It's not much, but I need to turn my fat into mucle before I get worse.
