And of course Ilfar's numbers are for regular spies and not Elven spies... add 25% for defending against them....

I might be able to help you keep him down through sab, but I'm not going to be able to steal anything from him for you because I'm too much bigger in size then he is....

That said, the makeup of his armory is amusing... 40 knifes (0 remaining after a 1 spy sabatoge mission) and 8 helmets. For someone with 98 level 7 spies I figure he'd have learned by now that that kind of weaponry won't last long and that he should invest in something of a little better quality...

He may have just upgraded, and be banking for next level... Or he may just be an idiot... In this game it's more likely the latter than the former ;)

one more question about spies and sabotaging. . . if someone has sab'd 5 dragons out of 25 or so . .and I sell off 15 to finance some upgrade. . . are the sab'd items always sold first?

That we're not sure on... When we did some tests with knives where we'd buy 10, sab 5, then sell 5 and sab check, we found no sabbed items...

We haven't tested with buy 5, sab 5, buy 5, sell 5, sab check though. Partly cause we're almost all sab immune now, but also because at 2 attack turns, we're really not THAT interested in finding out ;)

Sab immunity is definitely a Good Thing. :) Yes, Ilfar, I learnt my lesson well. Unfortunately with no Sagus in the game I can't aim to reach the top of his list again. It could have been nice, if for no other reason than to watch my intel list fill up with people trying to bring me down...

minsx, they're not dumb questions.... some things take a bit of testing to figure out and others come from reading what people have to say and talking to whomever you can...

Good luck catching up to the people up top though... its really getting tight up there - so much so that even though the sum of my ranks is 1000 odd less then it was when I was ranked 233 a couple of weeks ago I still rank above 300 now...

Edit: I guess I should mention that the sum of my ranks is around 2000, which explains why the whole 1000 odd less thing is quite a bit tighter

lol kk. one more question: do you ever get to the point where you can take everything with one attack turn? I had saved up quite a few attack turns, but now I am getting low :(
well, one more question: I just realized it costs more to repair stuff than it does to buy new stuff (cost per point of defense) so then, why repair stuff? why not just buy new?

Min

hey, already in top 5000 for offense! (even though it sucks) keeping my defense low though so that I will stay out of trouble

Well, I suppose I'll post my KoC link here in the hopes that I get clicked on.

For the record, I'm Invariel, I posted my 'Hi, I'm New' in the appropriate forum, and said that I play this game sometimes. Meaning that if I ignore it for a month, I'll have thousands of attacks at my disposal. :)

If anyone wishes to click on my link so that I have a better fighting force when I have 1k attacks to spend, it's

Enjoy. :)

minsx, its unlikely that the game will get to the point where you can steal all of someones money with one attack turn as we got to in Age 1 - primarily because the system as it functions now appears to be a percentage based system providing more control then the pure number based system which the had previously setup for age 1....

Invariel, welcome and enjoy your stay... you'll probably pick up a few clicks by posting your link but hopefully a few more if you were to get onto the list at http://www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/~cjdeck/koc.html.... click through there and send me a message if you'd like to get onto the list...

Asking questions is the only way to learn, other than doing it the hard way. Questions are a lot easier :P
