I'm almost finished with the ULTIMATE Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'm currently halfway through the last book in the series.

The last book I actually finished reading was the Da Vinci Code.

It bosts itself as the most famous science fiction book of all time. I liked it because it founded the concept of free love. Hear that? All the original sex fiend hippies were sci fi nerds.

Last I read was Battle Royale by Koushun Takami.

Next I'll read my giant book of Grimm's fairy tales. Yay!

I last read one of the Ranma 1/2 manga volumes, by Takahashi Rumiko.

I am currently reading HTML 4 for Dummies, 3rd Edition, by Ed Tittel, Natanya Pitts, and Chelsea Valentine. Actually, I'm more skimming it than reading it. I need to brush up for a project I'm working on. I'm also reading Learn Programming with C++, by John Smiley. It's not the best C++ book I've read, but it's ok.

I want to read Wizard's First Rule, by Terry Goodkind, but I keep on putting it off.

If comics count, the very last thing I read was Jeff Smith's Bone, Vol. 1: Out from Boneville. When I posted yesterday though the last thing I finished reading was the first volume of Osamu Tezuka's Adolf series.

I just finished reading a mystery thriller novel by Jonathon Kellerman, can't remember which one though, I have a bunch of his books. :shifty: Right now I am reading a book on crime scene forensics. It's kind of craptacular though, and the guy is british so I get confused when he talks about lawyers, because he calls them something completely different. I'm also reading Danse Macabre by Stephen King, and The way things ought to be, by rushy boy.

The last "new" book I read (i.e. for the first time) was The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. Very very cool.

Right now, I am re-reading my catalogue of Terry Pratchetts, and will probably go on a Stephen King-a-thon after that. I read a book every day or two, so I need to re-read a lot. I mean, A LOT.

Also, let me re-emphasise this point. Brookmyre makes life worth living. SAOS is his best in my opinion, but his latest - while a bit less substantial - easily wins for best last line of a book. Ever. If you want me to explain, just buy the damn book.
