Just Finished Battle Royale. Good good stuff, though the translation is poor.
I remember reading The Sword of Shannara recently by Terry Brooks, though I never really got around to going to the bookstore to buy another book in the series...
DO EEEET! Elfstones is damn good, better than the first, and Wishsong is even better than that.

The Scions of Shannara gets a bit bleh at times, but is generally pretty good. after that it's pretty much a love or hate relationship with the series. The First King is purely fanservice, and all the newer books (The Voyage of Jerel Shannara and The High Druid series) are... well... different than the other books of the series.

David Eddings... I read his trilogy of The Elenium. (The Diamond Throne, The Ruby Knight, The Sapphire Rose)

Currently, I am working on The Tamuli, though I've already read both from cover to cover. (Domes of Fire, The Shining Ones, The Hidden City)

David Eddings rocks as a fantasy author, guys.

Enders Game. Read it in under 3 days, and I'm now working on Speaker for the dead. Two days in, and half way through.

Last book I finished? Gender Outlaw by Kate Bornstein.

I'm in the middle of half a dozen books right now. No attention span whatsoever.

me too! I'm reading another short story book, this one's franz kafka. but i'm also in the middle of elegant universe, anna karenna, a history of anarcho-cyndicalism, and probably about 8 others.

it's awesome to have a short attention span.
