I don't apologize, but I say grace instead.

The only thing I really feel bad about is the animals who grow up in factory farms. And I don't know exactly where my meat comes from, so I've always felt a little guilty about it.

And Chik-Fil-A ads really DO make me sad. :(

I'd apologize for tipping a cow, but not for eating one.

As is done fairly often, I must second DN. I feel only moderately bad about tipping cows, as long as I don't step in a cow pat while I'm walking through the field :P If I step in one, I consider it fair play...

Apologizing indicates some feeling of guilt. I tear in to steaks, burgers, jerky, etc with no remorse at all. Beef is tasty!

What service has the cow provided to where it deserves a tip? :P

For the resurection of VERY VERY old Stop Editing Me edits, you shall have death!

On a side note, I had a burger for dinner. I decided as it was so wonderfully made here at home, not to addorn it with any strangeties like Catsup or Mayo, but merely some cheddar.

The beef was delicious.
