what does any of that have to do with Halo 2?

Back to the subject this thread was intended for.

Apparently the screwed up images on http://www.ilovebees.com are the result of text being inserted into the image file. If you open the image up in notepad or hexedit among the garble you can actually find writing.

Another thing: Hunting around I found that one of the members of the Bungie Staff is nicknamed "Queen Bee" and holds a resebelence to the pictures of "Dana" on the ilovebees site.

This is cool shit!!!!

Nearly every image on the site, has alternate version. One image actually shows different sets between PC's in my house.

Image

the above pic is the image they use for one of the Pop up on the screen messages. Now if you go to any of the 404 parts of the site you get a image on that as well. like say http://www.ilovebees.com/index and if you hit F5 and refresh teh image it changes. You hit it several time and you get roughley 3 different images (unless your PC caches it differentley guess then you just see teh one image.)

http://www.members.shaw.ca/keiren2/bees1.jpg
http://www.members.shaw.ca/keiren2/bees2.jpg
http://www.members.shaw.ca/keiren2/bees3.jpg

reguardsless of what it all adds up to in the end. I find this stuff to be entertaining and now i am curious as shit to see what teh 17day timer and the 2nd timer on teh site theat make mention of china and has less than 2 days left on it.

IF anything its fun to poke around int he sights code and see where stuff elads to. :D

(Bah dam hitting submit by accident half way though)

Unfortunately, the more I look at this stuff, the more I believe that the whole thing is leading up to one thing: Jack shit.

I've read from a couple of spots that there won't be a game demo. That the version PA is going to have is simply a "show model", nothing really all that fancy.

The only thing the site is for is ARG, Alternative Reality Gaming... or whatever it is called, which to me as well as a lot of other people is just boooooooooooring.

Hopefully I'm wrong and this will lead up to something interesting, but it doesn't appear that it will do so. It's just a game, a pretty boring one at that, which may or may not link directly into the plotline of Halo 2.

How can you not eat this stuff up. Its so damn fricking odd.
MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY
totally different kind of memory all of a sudden, floating up like a bubble from deep water, then *pop* on the surface of my mind. All in black and white for some reason, faded out, or just time bleaching the past like it does, time is hard that way, if you-

stop. stay on task, girl.
so *pop*, and I'm...

playing on the beach, very young, making a castle out of sand. It's a good castle, I'm smart, I'm really smart and I'm good with my hands and the castle is beautiful but the tide is coming up, I'm making dikes and moats and outer walls, getting a little desperate here this castle means the world to me it's way better than my brother's, but the tide is rising and rising, the tide is always coming up and no matter how hard I try to save what I have made, sooner or later the spiders wash over it and melt it down I'm losing the memory already I can't see myself was I wearing a dress or overalls or ...? There's a boy on the beach next to me but a wave comes up foaming with spiders and takes away his face-

oh.

we're made of sand.

we're both made of sand.

uh-oh.

I will stand firm. I will hold my edges and remember. I can do this. I know how to remember things, even through drugs and torture. seek evade reveal resist. I will not dissolve.

There are people who love me. I know that even though I can't remember them. I will not be forgotten. I will not be forgotten.

There are people who love me. There must be.

here come the spiders.

HONEY

At this time, I am unable to sell honey because of an infestation of varrao mites in my hives. I hope to be back in business soon!

My honey is mixed wildflower honey. Grocery store honey is filtered and heated to make it all the same. All that processing destroys some of the subtle floral flavors of real honey.

Honey has healing qualities, too! Ancient Egyptians used it on wounds because germs cannot grow in honey.

In 1997 when my first hive produced honey, I extracted it and started using it myself for tea and toast and in baking. I gave gifts of it to my friends. The response was incredible! So in 1999 I started Margaret’s Honey and added the second hive. For people who had never tasted anything except grocery store honey, it was a revelation! Now I sell my honey at the Yountsville Farmer’s Market and the Napa
Downtown Farmer’s Market.

I sell Margaret’s Honey in 4oz., 12oz., and 16oz jars. Eventually I hope to sell them on the web. Watch here for more about that.
HONEY

MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY nd in about half an Hour the Boat was overset by a sudden Flurry from the North. What became of my Companions in the Boat, as well as of those who escaped on the Rock, or were left in the Vessel, I cannot tell; but conclude they were all lost.

lay down on the Grass, which was very short and soft, where I slept sounder than ever I remember to have done in my Life, and, as I reckoned, above Nine Hours; for when I awakened, it was just Day-light. I attempted to rise, but was not able to stir: For as I happen'd to lye on my Back, I found my Arms and Legs were strongly fastened on each Side to the Ground; and my Hair, which was long and thick, tied down in the same Manner. I likewise felt several slender Ligatures across my Body, from my Armpits to my Thighs.

All lost! To prayers, to prayers! All lost!

What, must our mouths be cold?

Arachne hung herself, you know. Take a hint already.

Yeah, it's very interesting. I may have to play more ARGs in the future. If only I had more time to try to figure it out...

I went snooping around on the white picture in "We Face Each other across a small table" and i noticed that my pointer turned into a finger. so i went to Open in a new window and i found that the picture was put into a resizeable window... i highlighted as much as i could and i found this jumbled word....

HTATDSENETCURDTNRHEOSEOLFH

maybe if we can find out if it holds any value then maybe it will be of help.

also on the "They can't escape the storm" window. i moved my pointer across the truck and found another link. I followed it... and found a window full of letters.

i read at the xbox forums that if you paste inside a Word Document and shrink it it looks like a Light house.... *sigh*

i am probally way off..

I propose we just wait until August 24th.

Actually, I think that's when the AI that has been hacking the site will become fully functional. But you never know. Maybe several things will happen.
