Yeah, Wide awake and physical. I'm looking forward to it, mostly because of the impossible hope for a Halo 2 demo... :) (Yeah, I know it's not going to happen :( )

Yeah, I get nothing but zeroes, but it looks like nothing else has changed. I tried to get to the wiki to see what's happening, but I think it's down or something...

EDIT: As of 9:25, ilovebees.com is down. There's some sort of message about a "runtime error", but it looks strange.

EDIT: As of 10:05, the main page has a rather threatening message from the operator, or whoever hacked the site. The links page now has a bunch of times and wierd names and stuff... Very strange.

from http://bees.netninja.com/blog/

OK, it’s happening - at 6:07AM, the ILB site updated to “Transmitting"… but the important part is the links.html page - the coordinates have been grouped and each group has a codeword. Apparently each group has to have two successful contacts to GO HOT. Once that happens, the codeword turns into a link.

If you are going to a site, print out http://melangerie.com/bees/ either the html or the xls and take it with you - the codeword is included for each location.

At this time, a phone will ring and a recording will ask you for “her name, and your name” - the answer is “OPERATOR” and the location’s code name.

Good luck, beekeepers! Remember, after you have visited your location and want to post about the experience, PLEASE POST IN THE AXONS THREAD ONLY! Do NOT post in other threads, the info will be lost in the crunch! The boards are getting visited to much for the mods to move posts, so PLEASE keep your posts in the correct thread!

Damn it. If there were any locations near me, I might be able to get to one of them, but the only one within 4 hours of my house is already over... :( Come on people, give New Hampshire some beekeeping love!

The Ilovebees thing is trying to tell you about the demo for Halo2

There will be no publicly released beta for Halo 2, and the playable version of Halo that will be at PAX as well as a few other events is the same release as the one shown at E3.

What I don't get is how this unfiction ARG game got involved with Halo 2. I guess the question is why? Maybe just as a hook to get people interested in this particular unfiction production.

edit: my bad, unfiction doesnt create these things. who does then???
its all so odd.....

Some have speculated that microsoft is behind it, but it seems more like a Bungie thing to do. It's already pretty obvious that it ties into the Halo storyline, what with the shipboard AI and mentions of the covenant, but it might just be an entertaining diversion provided by bungie to give people something to do while they wait for the release for Halo 2. :) I don't think it necessarily leads to a demo release, new information, or anything like that.

Well Microsoft would make sense, since they have experience from the AI game...

As far as I know, Microsoft dislikes releasing their videos in Quicktime format. But it might be around somewhere.

You could try The Core Media Player. Or work on fixing winamp. That'd be cool.

For those of you that are still interested with ilovebees.com, here is an update to what has happened.

As of the 24th, Wide Awake and Physical has taken place. And with that, the links page on TLB has changed. Now there is a list of GPS coordinates and times; and at each location there is a telephone. If you are at the telephone at the right time of day you will get a call. If you answer the questions asked correctly, you will unlock an audio file that makes a story.

Currently all the audio files have been opened, but some locations are still working if you want to have a little fun. To hear the completed files, click here. And if you do not have a GPS locater to find the spots, Click Here.

Happy phone hunting!
