Starlinemedia.net problems

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

The book! ...and the ad that's still there...

heh. i logged back on to find out that Infin8Cyn had the same idea as i did. i, however, managed to catch the "available everywhere the week of 7/5/04" ad. greatly amusing. i'll only post a link so that i don't slow things down for anyone stuck with dial-up.

Question. Did any of you who have recieved the book gotten an email saying it was being shipped, or something along those lines? As of now, I have heard absoutely nothing about my specific copy since I preordered it on the 3rd of July. Now, the Starline site is down, and I'm not entirely sure what to do. Just to let you know, my book hasn't arrived as of mailtime today (08/17/2004), and I haven't gotten any emails about it.

Thanks for the help,
Darrell M.

The Starline website isn't down, they are not accepting orders until they can fix some things, but if you go to the site you can read for yourself the instructions to follow if you have not recieved your copy of the book yet.

I got the email that bumped my status to *Processing*, but I never got an email saying it was shipped.

When I ordered my copy, I had the vanishing cart bug happen, so I don't have an order status to check lol. I sent an email to the starline order status thing, and they said to send my address and order info to them, and I did. Havn't heard anything back since. So far, havn't gotten my copy yet but i'm willing to wait a few more days before I ask again, I imagine it will get here tomorrow or the next day.

Yeah, still no sign of the book for me either here in Madison, Wisconsin. I too had gotten the email saying my order status was processing but that was at least two weeks ago or so.

Wonder what's up? Hopefully when Greg puts out the next book, he can find a more on-the-ball printer and web sales company to sell his book. This was a bit of a frustrating deal for this first book....

Still it'll be great if I do finally get it here...

Sincerely, Wytefang

/me cries

People would know what was going on if they'd read around a bit. There are a couple of threads on the topic, the one with the most info is stickied right at the top of this very section of the forum.

Still haven't gotten mine. Just angry I ordered it priority mail. Think I should have it refunded.

I got the email copied and pasted from what was said on here by SM, but like i said, just really disappointed i had to wait this long. Normally priority mail means you get it, you know... quickly
