Starlinemedia.net problems

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Woah...when you first posted that Chain Chimp in the pics thread, I thought it was like, the size of a keychain or something

T minus 4 days until I leave for college. My fingers are crossed. Looks like my mom may be paying for the shipping to send my book/poster to my dorm.

Still nothing here either, but if you read on starline's website they say that Domination T-Shirts will be shipping out some books starting this week, I figure that only the first 100 books or so were shipped out by Starline and the rest will be handeled by the other place. So here's hoping I get mine this week.

If I understand correctly, only some of the pre-orders were shipped dirrectly from the printer, and I am not entirely sure if all of the pre-orders were shipped or not. If you ordered the book after it was printed, then my guess is that you are one of the people who has not yet recieved their book.

I'll try to get ahold of some info and either post it here myself or have someone from Starline do it.

I posted my problem over in this thread, but it looks like this may also be a valid place. Copy/Paste follows.

I pre-ordered the RL comics book back in June when it was first available for preorder. I waited through the delays (which aren't really a big deal). Then, when the Starline Media phone number was listed on the website, I called them. They assured me my book had already been or would shortly be shipped- this was over three weeks ago, and I live in the US.

When Greg posted that he didn't want to be bothered about it and directed people to the Starline Media site, I went to their site. Since their phone number was no longer available, I e-mailed them. Over a week has gone by without response.

Now, I'm moving to Japan in a week and am a bit miffed that, since I don't have a forwarding address yet (and won't until I get there), I won't exactly be able to call Starline (even if I had their phone number)... and since they apparently don't respond to e-mails, I am not terribly optimistic about getting a response through e-mail.

Anyone else having similar problems?

... and not that this has any bearing on the current issue, but I also donated for a custom sketch back in April 2002 for the "send Greg to a con" fund and never received that either.
