Blair. I've always liked it, though it seems to be more common on boys, I still think it's a pretty girl name. And it goes good with Alexis, my middle name. :)

As with StruckingFuggle, I've no problem with 'Christopher' as my name. I've always gone by Chris, but as I get older I find myself beginning to prefer the full name. I'd actually have preferred to have something a little more unique and interesting, but Christopher is just fine.

Tiffany... I don't really like it because people have "expectations" attached to the name that really don't fit me. I was named after a girl my dad had a crush on in HS, although he never told mom that. My sister was named after the sister of a GF of his. Mom knew the name of the GF ...but not Heidi, the name of the sister. Heidi suits my sis quite well seeing as she is a small blonde girl. Tiffany does not really fit me. I am not very "girly" nor am I an airhead For some reason people keep finding out my name and going "you don't seem like a Tiffany". Grar.

Elizabeth. I like it . It's a classic name. Hehe But there are 3 Elizabeth's in my writing class. Two others that have the same first and last name as me. Which is kind of weird to me. I never go by Beth unless it's someone close to me, like my family or really close friends.

I like my middle name because I don't know any other people online or around here (I know they're out there but I haven't met any) with my middle name, Josette. hehehe

I also have ALOT of nick names growing up from my family.

Try spelling that as a child. ;)

Known to most of my friends as Brígh (pronounced Bree)

Karl. Short, simple, next to no one else has it, so I'll never be called "That Karl.", always, "Karl.".

I pity all people named John (or derivatives thereof.).

And John and Helen begot an Allen. Furthermore, Graham and Elizabeth begot a Margaret. Thus Allen and Margaret begotteth Chris.

Although Chris isn't as uncommon as I'd like it to be, and people under 10 usually have trouble spelling it, I still like it. I would have been okay with Alex, but it did't work out that way. In fact the reason why I was named Chris was to avoid family politics problems. I was the first grandson of both my sets of grandparents, so I got a last name for a middle name and a first name not shared by anyone else in either family. Thank [insert diety here] I wasn't named Michael. I don't have anything against the name, it's just that about a third of all male babies born between 1988 and 1990 in the US were named Michael.

I used to obsessively refuse to be called Christopher. Now I don't give much of a shit, although most people call me Chris or 'you' anyway.

My last name sounds stupid.

Sjoerd. Lovely name to try and have foreigners pronounce :D.

When I was in the US on vacation last year (Michigan / Wisconsin area), I must've heard like 20 different attempts. In the end the family of my friend game up and just started calling me "Sam". I didn't like that... my own name's better than Sam.

Hardly anyone ever calls me Jessica, 98% of the people I know call me Jez or Jess. It's always a little weird to hear someone actually call me Jessica, because I always think of myself as Jez or Jezzy. Other than that it's a fairly alright name, though far too common among my age group. My middle name Kathleen is okay too I guess. Not nearly as common as my first name which is good. I was named after my great uncle Jesse, who died of cancer on death row, and my great grandmother kathleen.

My last name people always either spell wrong or say wrong. It's Tribell, pronounced like tribble (go star trek!), people usually say try bell, or actually spell it tribble, tribel, tribbel, tribbel, or any other crazy way.
