Plain Explination of the OSI model

Just as the title says I am looking for a simple explination of each of the seven layers of the model.

Ah, if i only had my Network+ book still... I'll ask the teacher if I can borrow it (I'll see him on monday) and post it here. If someone has it posted, then this is useless.

Pron does not teach second period anything.

Remember that for the osi model. If you're taking a test (even teh ccna) you'll really need to know that and the order by memory.
