Well, Well, Well.

Judge for yourself, cause I'm gonna sit my fat ass on the fence with this one.

Ooooooooooh snap.
Here I am, to sing you a song. And there you are, asleep against the windowpane, just like always.

My outfit has some South Korean cadets in it. They might get called back home if this is true.

Ok, but who is really suprised by this. We knew they had them, their missiles still suck ass, and the only reason they are testing them is to put us on edge during the upcoming negotiations.
Kill a man, and you are an assassin. Kill millions of men, and you are a conqueror. Kill everyone, and you are a god.

Keep in mind? Theres more than one way to generate a blast cloud that mimics a mushroom cloud. Here's a little more detail on the event, as well as an semi-retraction Reuter's made about an hour later, though its equally as vauge as their first report.

I think if it was atomic, they would have been able to confirm it fairly quickly and there would be a lot more happening now...

All news sources agree now that it wasn't nuclear. Possible explanations include:

- an ammunition depot or convoy exploded (North Korea is stacked with weapons)
- a meteor impact (unlikely, but some sources report a crater...)
- a large fire
- conventional weapon testing

*shrugs* Nothing to worry about unless people were killed...

North Korea just announced the cloud that was seen from space was due to a mountain being detonated for a water power project. Nothing serious...

"yes... it was a mountain. we swear. you trust US, right?"

A nuclear explosion would be huge, sure - unless it was a small nuclear explosion. They ARE poor. Just a thought.

IIRC, I could be talking out of my arse, but a low yeild nuke is more expensive, and harder to make than a high yeild.

Consensous seems to be that it was indeed a big explosion, but not a nuclear blast.

Did you imagine the final sound as a gun? Or the shattered windows of a car? Did you ever imagine the last thing you'd hear as you're fading out was a song?

If they're dead, they don't have anything to worry about.
