DAMMIT! WHY COULDN'T YOU TELL US YOU ONLY CORRECT FROM THE DAMN BLUE BOOK! WHY! IF YOU HAD JUST LOOKED AT THE TEST PAPER, I COULD HAVE HAD A FUCKING 90 COMPARED TO THAT GODDAMN 66 YOU GAVE ME! WTF!!

I know that I must sound a lot like a freshmen, but SERIOUSLY! You think the professor would at LEAST tell us that the only corrected portion would be in that damn booklet. Yes, I am a stupid freshmen who is still used to the high school view of things...

Been there, I feel your pain. You could try and talk to the professor. Just go up to him and say, "I misunderstood the instructions on the test, and I do not think that this grade is an accurate representation of what I know."
This will usually work and he will reconsider.

Just make sure to do 1 key thing

Make it your fault not the profs. Even if it clearly thier fault. They are used to freshmen mistakes and usually forgiving, as long as you are don't make it their fault they usually dont get defensive.

If he gets defensive you are fucked

I did that right after I got the test back. :/ His only responce was "It was supposed to be in the blue book. that is what it is for." Nothing more, nothing less. And then he moved on to the next person while I was banging my head against the wall. -_- Wonderful way to start a monday.

Oh yeah that was the second part. Don't go up after the class. Go to his office. He can brush you off if you talk to him after class. But if you go to his office he has to talk to you. Also you make sure to situate yourself between him and the door he will feel trapped. It works wonders.

That sounds like bullshit to me. The prof where I work told me that he tells students that to keep them from coming to his office. Most universities have rules as to how long you have to keep the test papers. Try it anyway can't hurt. If it doesnt work, depending on how much you care, find out the univeriversities policies. You may have a ligitimate complaint to file.

The one time I wanted to retake a test the prof was a kinda young guy. So I go up to his office in a short skirtand tight shirt and politely ask.

. It worked.
