Words scroll by way too fast. Can't you make it more like a campaign bumper sticker or something?

I dunno, I can read it easily enough.

Liberation of 25 million people from fascist dicatorship: 1,052 dead Americans.
Either proving your nation is a hypocrite, hasty and horribly misinformed, or setting your nation up for perpetual war because there's a bunch of other fascist dictatorships out there who are about as much a threat as Iraq was: Re-election?

I can slow it down, if you like.

I don't understand what you mean by the first two. As for the "perpetual war" thing, you do realize that the Earth is finite, no?

Okay, let's say we fought the war in Iraq to liberate the Iraqi people. That's nice - what about all the other opressed people? Do we go "yeah, but we're not gonna liberate you opressed people" (that's the hypocrisy)? Or did we free them because their leader and home nation was also a threat, when it really wasn't apparently the threat it was? Then we look hasty and horribly misinformed. That leaves two alternatives: Admit the liberation of Iraq was a second-thought byproduct instead of the main aim, or prepare for a long series of wars to liberate the rest of the world - and while the world is finite, I couldn't see such a series of wars ending anytime in the reasonable future without outside interference - so perpetual's a bit of an exageration, but not much.

You know, instead of calling it a false dichotomy (and you know, I'm getting sick of quote-edits) ... you could point out another option I'm missing.

But hey, being constructive is a new notion to you, isn't it?

Yes, you're right, of course. The ability to construct essays on otherwise self-evident topics is a bottomless well with free plumbing, and I'm just putting a lid on it to spite you.

Now THAT is a hard to read sig. Perhaps add some sort of glow behind the letters to help them stand out?
