I'm kinda soft-spoken and I mumble, so that leads to all sorts of interesting names. By far the worst: "I'm Raymond" "Rimmit?"
I get "Brandon","Ryan", and "David" a lot.
My last name, Welch is usually mistaken as "Welsh", so I have to say "like the juice company. *sigh*"
<Ashlee> OMG I'M HAVING SO MUCH UNF.

First name- No problems (Well, one ricockulously rare circumstance, which I shamelessly ripped into the person about later by intentionally mispronouncing their name as horrifically wrong as possible, to the point where even they got the point.). Last name- Always problems.

Karl Horvath.
No one gets the last name right. Ever. WHORE. VATH (rhymes with bath.). Not hard.

Named after one of the Marx brothers, no doubt.

I'm REALLY glad I didn't keep my old German name... "Hettich." The first time I told someone that my name originally was "Hettich" they said "Head Cheese" as my last name until they got an uppercut below the ribs.

Hettich is, of course, pronounced "Hettikh." or "Hettish," depending on who you talk to.

Yeah, I don't know how he took it that way, either... But either way, he called me head cheese for a while.

Slay him.

You know, it really is tragic that accents don't travel well into print.

Think "Puma" from "McClintock."

I don't see why my name is so difficult for some people. I think it has too many letters. Maureen Keathley. Not Marlene. Not Mary. Not Keagly. Not Keatley. Not Keeley. Just not.

BART-low-me-AY-check.

Close though, most people would probably just go all, "Barta..lom... ee-ahsizzsckskczzk."

I've never really had a problem with my name. Once I was called "Rudy" by a really drunk girl. I'm surprised that hasn't come up more. In 9th grade, a teacher actually called me "Rubbie" As in "rub" and the letter "e". All my friends thought that was hilarious for a long time.

[quote="Smaointe";p="401877"]I've had people call me Anna, and also spell my name as Ema and Emmu.

.............. I kinda thought I had a really easy name, too.

Imperator Severn, as you obviously come from a military family I can feel for ya some. My sister, who spent 17 years calling me Casey, now calls me Camp because we are both in the Army. Now the scarry part isn't that people get my first name wrong, that is more understandable than them screwing up on my last name when its printed clearly right in front of them. It's almost as if they want my name to be harder than it is. I get Kemp, Comp, Campa, Campo, and Campos. I mean yeah thats it I just got tired of writing and was hoping that you could finnish it, or sorry I don't know how to spell my last name so please enlighten me. Not to mention I get Cassie all to often for a first name. Your right Casey isn't that manly of a first name but to take my penis away completely is just mean.
