Dogs are nasty and just plan stupid. They don't have any personallity of their own, they sit there and stare stupidly, until they are told what to do.

Cats are much better, easily littler box trained anyways, but they have personalitys, Buffy is cute and kind of a loner but she does love attention on occasions, Oreo likes to think he the protector of the house, Charlie is the youngest and kind of timid to spite his size. He collects toys like rubber bands, and paperwads and puts him in his toy box and he panics if anyone takes anything. When he went back and forth from Jessicas apartment to our house, he'd pack up a skittle wrapers in my sisters suitcase each time she was about to leave.

And how. How is this any different than saying that all black men are dangerous criminals?

/me prefers cats over dogs

This would probably be because I've grown up with cats.

Hey, I can understand a preference one way or the other, but saying that no dogs have personalities is just...horrific!

my sister has a gold fish...
she's trying to starve him to death
his name is nemo II
she blames him for the death of nemo I
he was an old goldfish
I say he died of old age, but she thinks nemo II pecked him to death
...
...
now she wan't nemo II's head
but she wouldn't do the humane thing, she wouldn't flush him down the toilet
"I don't have the heart to do it" she says "he's still alive"
...
...
so I sneak him food when she's not at home...
...
poor nemo II

Hey, we've got the mutant cat with 4 lower canines.

She also is the only cat [well kitten] that will not only chase her tail, but catch it, and then proceed to chew on it. I love Ash.

my friend's cat willl stalk it's tail. It doesn't just run in circles, it will stalk and pounce on it'sown tail, and it will then proceed to wrestle withit, jumping, rolling, and hopping about.

FUnniest thing I've ever seen.

I have grown up in the presense of both cats and dogs. I would prefer my dog(s) more in the long run. That would probably be because they are around more often. We always let our cats wander in the neighborhood and such, so they aren't inside (or in view) very often.
Advice is the easiest when given, and the most difficult when taken.

Cats wandering around out here usually get run over or shot with a bb gun.

Note, I don't think that's a good thing, but that's what happens. There are way too many wandering around, and a few people have had problems with stray cats attacking their kids in the yard. So they went vigilanti.
