Peter stuffs the pistol in his pocket, and takes a knife also.

"Come on, I think I saw some apartments back near Main Street.
Maybe someone's there."

"Yes Jack, we have all lost our minds," John says as he gets a wierd look on his face. "Heading there though is a lot better of an idea than staying here and getting surrounded. At least that way we have a chance, even if it leads to so-called 'certain doom'. I always did live for the cool boss fights."

Peter turns toward Al, walking backwards.

"Er, don't you mean the reap - NI!"

His foot catches something, and falls flat on his back. He slowly gets up, rubbing the sore spots.

"What was that?"

He then notices a spiked tail the same color as the asphault. What the tail belonged to, he didn't know, because he was running away.

Eric stares at trhe tail a bit and then follows after Peter.

Watching as Peter trips over the light grey spiked tail, John begins to speed up is pace and breaks out into a run after he makes sure that Peter can run as well.

"You doing alright there Peter?" John asks as they are running. "We should probably try to rest a little once we get to that apartment."

Looking over his shoulder, John realizes that he hasnt seen Rob in a long time, and hopes that Rob wasn't the first member of the party to have come to an unfortunate end.

"Wait the apartments aren't the safest place, lte me think...the safest place should be?" Jack thinks a while, mumbleing to him self "I got it! First we hit w weapons shop, then we'll move to some housing distericts, find an empty house bord up all the window locke the besement, and we should be fine for a day."
