Al backs off a bit and feels his lips with the fingers of his left hand, which is also still holding the blade, and fends off the doppleganger with his right sword. He is, after all, a little confused by why he has a wierd taste in his mouth that hopefully isn't metallic.

Al's fingers come back red, and in accordance with his fears, the taste is indeed metalic

Al backs off from the doppleganger and, sheathing his left sword, grabs some piece of cloth and wraps it tightly around his midsection so as to stop any possible blood flow. He ties it off as best as he can and retreats out of the store.

Heading out into the mall, Al arrives to see Alfred jump on top of the spider demon, apparently striking the creature; and then jumping off seconds before the spider explodes, sending Alfred flying.

Al walks over to a bench near the rest of the guys and sits down.

Albert sits down as he hears a deadening thud from the first floor of the mall where Alfred lands. Peter is looking down at what was the head fo the former spider demon as it shreiks and shakes on the floor. John is over, staring over the rail on the second floor, down to the first.

The head in front of Peter begins to levitate off the ground. It is about six inches up and continues to head in his direction. Behing him and off to his left is Albert who is now sitting, watching the commotion as the head is seemingly tryign to attack Peter.[hr]If he were to look around, John would notice that there was a sporting goods store across the mall from where he now stands, and if he remembers the map, there is a set of stairs about 500 feet further down the mall.

Peter take a swing at it with his sword and takes of running to the nearest group of armed companions.

"It's trying to eat my brains or something! Kill it!"

John pulls out his katana and runs for the stairs to get down there and help alfred back up to them.

Running over, Peter quickly arrives at Albert who is now lazily sitting there and seems to have a little blood going down the right side of his chin. He also has a white peice of cloth wrapped tighly around his midsection. From back in the cigar shop, Albert and Peter can hear a wailing moan, and behind him, Peter can still hear the noise from the spider's head as it floats 3 feet off the ground towards him.[hr]John quickly makes it to the stairs and looks down, it appears to be open although it is a little dark down there. He can hear a soft wail back in the direction that he came from, but it is nothing compared to a soft song that he hears lofting up to him from just down the stairs. The voice sounds eerily soothing.

Peter notices the head still making it's way toward him. He REALLY doesn't like spiders, so he runs up and takes a Happy Gilmore-style running golf swing at it with his sword. THen he retreats back to Albert again.

John looks around down the stairs for alfred, Katana out. He fishes around his pocket to find something to put in his ears in case there is a spell or something being cast.
