John looks at Jack "Umm, ok we dont know where the gun store is though. Even if we could get there, the guns are most likely locked up so we couldn't get to them. The apartment should give us a chance to recuperate and get a plan in order."

Peter finally stops running when he gets to the buildings.

"Huff... huff... Heheh... We're safe... Huff..."

Peter notices everyone looking at him, or rather beyond him, wierdly.

"...There's something behind me, isn't there."

Everyone nods. Peter slowly turns around and finds himself face-to-face with the owner of the tail. It's somewhat catlike in appearence, with a bit of demon mixed in, and some very large, wicked fangs thrown in for good measure.

Peter jumps back, firing three shots (all of them miss) at the thing.

About the size of a fully grown St. Bernard, possibly a bit bigger. And its tail is very long.

Using movements that seem lazily fast, Al throws 4-5 of the smaller knives that he as at the thing's face and then does his best to get into the nearest building, or at least get away from the cat-thing.

"Ooooookay, who let the cat out?!"

"Actually, I prefer it actually being alive. At least we can kill it this way."

Al is still trying to force the door open.

"As long as they don't try to kill me, they can do all the demon summoning they want thank you very much. Now would you mind helping me with this door?"

The thing makes a leap towards Al. With a sudden burst of adrenaline and panic, he manages to forse the door open and get inside.

*BLAM! BLAM!*

Peter unleashes two quick shots on the thing at close range. Now with two bullets wounds and a knife or two protruding from its back, it collapses to the ground.

Looking down at the cat demon, John says, "What was that thing? I have never seen anything like it before. Lets just hope that it was the last of its kind or we are really going to be screwed. How many bullets do we have left? Regardless we should probably find a place inside this apartment where we can get a chance to better asess our situation."

As Al looks around the interior of the apartment, he sees several things that would even scare a stoner out of his mind. He slowly backs out of the apartment, slamming the door shut when he gets out.

"Whoever lived in that one sure had some weird hobbies. Lets try the next one, shall we?"

"Huh? What's in there?"

OOC: You can make it up, if you want. From now on, everyone has more freedom in the story. Monster appearences, monster actions, etc.

Walking down the hall infromt of Al, John hears a noise that sounds vaguely human "Helllp," a voice in one of the rooms says as a puddle of liquid comes out from underneath the door head of John to the left. As he bends down to take a closer look at the liquid there is a loud bang on the other side of the door as though somethign is trying to break it down. The shock from the bang send John reeling backwards. Landing on his butt he uses is feet to push him away from the door.

ooc: how's that for a monster intro, Radical?
