Is it just me, or have the forums been really slow recently?

Is it just me, or have the forums been really slow recently?

No, I don't mean the speed of the forums has slowed (rest at ease Martin, you're doing a fine job!) but I mean the posting activity seems to have really slowed to a halt these past few days. I remember since the GNM (Great N00b Migration) of.. What was it? 2001? Yeah, that sounds right. That you couldn't leave for more than half a week and you'd be right out of the loop with the going ons of the forum events. But this past week, it's been the same topics, in the same position with the same posts. And I feel even more alone than usual in my timezone. Does anyone else feel this? And in the spirit of the topic....

It happens during the fall. School starts and people get on here less due to other activities.

I don't recall it ever being this bad.

I made a rhyme, I made a rhyme. Ooh look a butterfly,

/me wanders off distracted.
Kill a man, and you are an assassin. Kill millions of men, and you are a conqueror. Kill everyone, and you are a god.

<Randomperson2> Yes I am pretty sure my computer is trying to commit suicide.
