Guest Appearances

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Guest Appearances

Post by SandersRK » Fri Oct 08, 2004 2:39 am

Now, this may sound stupid and vague, but after looking at that comic suggestion thread, I was thinking it would be spiffy for RL to have some sort of famous person in a strip. I don't know, someone like a comedian [Jerry Seinfeld, Rodney Dangerfield, Denis Leary] or maybe some not as much of a favourite person like... Hitler, who knows. Actually Rodney Dangerfield would be a spiffy idea in honor of his passing. /kneel

SandersRK, are you seriously suggesting Greg do a ghost/zombie strip with Rodney Dangerfield?

Yeah, but that wouldn't be a "guest appearance". It could be a GHOST APPEARANCE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHA

Or he could keep doing what he's been doing for the last 5 years...

As has been mentioned in another thread, suggesting it is likely the best way to be sure it will never be done. Just imagine if people saw Greg take one idea, no matter how good it was, he would forever be inundated with ideas until he had to stop posting here and change his email address.

That's why I left it vague. It's not an obscenely specific suggestion, I just said another guest appearance would be cool. And it would...

He suggests haveing HITLER on the comic, and that is what you take issue with?

Oh yeah, that's all we need is Rodney Dangerfield's ghost showing up, complaining about how he never got any last respects.

How about having Ghost Rodney Dangerfield making fun of Ghost Hitler?

Ok, so it was a dumb idea...

How about a ghost Reeves as Superman beating up a zombie Hitler in a WWE style match?

How bout a ghost thread appearing ominously, as though summoned by a necromancer.
