The RL Books are Shipping. Do You Have Yours?

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Still waiting for my book.
Told it'd be alright to order from sweden, told my shipping/handling was correct. Yet nothing.
Ordered t-shirt, poster and the book. Estimating about 60$ , yet nothing.

This is getting irritating. First they had lost my order, but "withdrawn" the money. Then they tell me they are going to ship it. Yet, almost 6 months after I made the order I have nothing ;-[

If I didn't like RLC so much and still have some faith left. I would file a complaint to paypal about this issue. Perhaps that'd give them the hint!
I dont like "Megatokyo" anymore - so sue me!

Thought i should post here eventually. ill ask dad to have a look though credit card bills, i did order one almost soon as he said they were about. However i don't think we were ever billed. hence experiancing the whole "order lost" issue. If we have not been billed for one i shall just order another.
Yes i am the one who manually saved every RLcomic to his PC whilst on 26.4k net. Best 8 hours i ever spent.

If that doesn't work, post here and Greg, Liz, myself or someone from Starline will try and get you some answers.

Eh, I pre-ordered the book (don't remember if I was charged for it or not), and then it never came. I saw it at a local comic shop and bought it there. It's a great book! I wonder if it's still going to show up, since it seems that occasionally people are still getting theirs.
Random Task, show them what you do...

Long story.

I ordered my copy way way back when it was being published through Ironcat. When I found out it jumped publishers, I reordered it AND emailed Starline about it.

Waited around for a very long time. Nothing happened. Got a couple emails at very long intervals from Starline, but they weren't much help. The book went to print in February 2004 and still nothing. I hoped that the comic shop I ordered through did order it, but nothing really came to fruition (but they did get me Mac Hall, which I haven't paid for yet :shifty: )

During the year, I started work for a online Linux distributor. Later on, they merged into a online bookstore which offered a Bookfind service. After their success with finding both of Wil Wheatons books, I asked them to find Real Life. Sure enough, they did and I ordered it. 2 weeks later (after nearly 2 years, maybe more) of waiting, I got the book in the mail. The only downside was a rip in the cover, but we were unable to determine the source of it. And since I was a affiliate, I got 10% commission on it.

Funny thing was, soonafter I got the book, Starline emailed me and asked for my address. I said I got the book via other methods and left it at that. And it still hasn't shown up at the comic shop.
