3-D EYE COMIC!! its incredible!

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

3-D EYE COMIC!! its incredible!

Post by Nakor » Sun Nov 14, 2004 6:35 am

hi

this is my first ever post, i just thought you might like to know this

i have my 17" lcd set on 1280x1024, which is nice :), but you dont care about that, what you might care about is that i can view your comic and if i do a 3d eye thing, it makes the comic sorta 3d, because the horizontal panels usually are the same shot with different words its pretty darn cool!

the most recent one works well since the bubble words are the only thing different and it makes the comic so interesting :)

just thought you might like to know that

Yeah, that's been pointed out a few times by different people.

What's a 3-D EYE?

Easiest way is to go crossed eyed and merge the 2 images together, you gat do it with stamps and stuf, and duplicate image.

I never really managed the cross-eyed way. I prefer the 'diverging' method where you kind of look 'through' it, as though at something far away. I prefer this way as it makes stuff look 'bigger' where as going crosseyed makes it smaller...and it's easier on the eyes.

Only difference is the diverging method only works if the images are fairly small, relatively speaking. You can't diverge your eyes beyond a certain amount... but crossing them you can superimpose much more at once.

For instance, when using the diverging eye method looking at my laptop, i can only seperate the screen by a few inches on either side. Looking cross-eyed, I can see two laptops, with a space between them of about the same as the width of a laptop.
