I'm sorry. Do you accept my apology?

A great deal of the US is now publically apolagizing for allowing the election to turn out the way it did.

Whew! That's a nice gesture!

Wouldn't it be more like a fourth of the U.S. that tried? I'd assume only about half the eligible voters actual,ly voted this year, looking at our past few elections.

10% of MTV's audience voted. So they redifined their audience to include anyone under 30. Losers.
And on the eighth day God said, "Okay Murphy. You take over."

Please tell me it's a joke site. There are so many "accepted" pics that are downright horrible for one reason or another that I'm tempted to write it off to satire, as few people could create these things on purpose.

That website really gets on my nerves. I have nothing personal against any other country, but there has been a hell of a lot of USA bashing done by other countries recently. I feel there should be no reason for Kerry supporters to apologize to anyone, except maybe themselves for voting for him. This is our country, and we will elect the person we want to run it. Boo hoo to all you non Americans who wanted Kerry to win, and if you think I need to apologize to you, then FUCK OFF.

I concur with that. I bitched out a few friend who were Kerry supporters becasue the SECOND Bush won, they went all mopey and started bashing Bush. Hell, one of my friend's colleges CANCELLED classes becasue everyone was to depressed that Kerry lost. Then again, this WAS in boston, but still, it's a joke.

/me gets a horrible headache suddenly.

You realize that attitude is a lot of the reason why a huge part of both the American population and the rest of the world really do dislike the Administration and the nation, right?

I mean, why should the rest of the world care who gets elected President? It's not like they're going to be effected by the results, right? .... Oh, wait.

And as for the citizens - it's not like this was a meaningless election that won't change our country, and even if it was, it's not like, if it was for the worse, it can't be easily undone like flicking a lightswitch with the next election ... I mean, fuck ... it's just an election that happened in a vaccum, not for the reason that the majority thought Bush had more good ideas than bad, and some people just don't like what that says about the populace..... again, oh wait.

There are very legitimate reasons to be less than happy or complacant, and you know, if you can't get that ... /me sighs ... If you disagree with it, that's cool! I don't care so much, and in fact I'd love to make it an issue. But if you just want to say "it's not a big deal, shut up, nothing's wrong, just be complacant" ... .... yeah, I can't think of a strong enough way to question your awareness.

A great deal of the people thin much less of you for posting this...

See I can attribute the greater majority to my point of view with no compelling evidence too. IT'S FUN
