How is it a game?
Is it a game to piss off people across the internet?
Its not a game, its a way for the people that made the website make money. They make some shitty game that required little skill, then they let people 'play' it and spam the messages on boards. After that, people (not knowing the horrible place they are about to go to) click on the links, and the people that made the site get money for it due to the banners all over the site.

As much as I disliked all the stupid KoC posts that were littering the old forums, I'm sorry it had to end like this.
Oh well. No more KoC spam! YAY!

KoC; fangs now removed

Post by agenfell » Sun Mar 09, 2003 9:39 am

Since the system now checks (I suggested they implement this, and I'm glad they did) to see if you were tricked into visiting the link, people have no reason to spam links. Thus, the only way to get people to click your link is to make them want to, and the vast majority of the annoying spam has vanished like twilight.

Neat.

I enjoy this game because it reminds me of the old BBS games I used to play when I was in college. Like any game, it's fairly simple (A sufficiently advanced computer could play for me...but a sufficiently advanced computer could beat me at MOHAA or chess) without being so simple that hidden strategies don't eventually form.

Why is it that people are so uptight about KoC. If u don't want to read about it don't click it. Like take Mav for exaple. I just joined a few minutes ago and have seen him post something bad on the KoC topics. Why would u take the time to click and type while u could just skim over it in half a second .

Wow.

You just necroed a thread over a month old, and also ignored a sticky thread about KoC at the top.

Good going. You've made your mother proud.

I hated the spammers but it wasn't me. I just trash the spammer's computers but not the server. I leave it for all the polite players.

Why am I not surprised that Nero is 15 years old?

KoC was a pathetic Archmage wannabe. I'll bet the Archmage players summoned up some Red Dragons on the KoC's asses.
