he said Degrassi, not Dawsons creek.

Also, as I've heard it, "hooser" is actually a term which originated in the United States.

What I ment by the Americans gave the world Dawsons Creek is that everyone make something stupid, and Hosser is a American-made term used to make fun of Canadians, some people just beleave that it is wheat we say, like "Eh, hoser."

And the Simposons are American, no?

If you ever hear a person say "Hoser" they eather got it from a American or are a American.

In Canadian Bacon he siad "Aboot", as in "ooo", everyone actualy says (besides Newfes) "About". so you pronounce the "Ou" as "Ow" and not "Oo" and "Ow" sounds more like "Oh" or "O".

I had a friend in high school who's family was from Canada. Every once in a while he'd drop an "aboot" or a "hoose" and he'd laugh at himself. I don't know what province he was from, though. Hmm, I'll ask... Ontario, so that disproves the "only Newfies." He just told me that Newfies just have it more pronounced.

I am certain my ex will be unhappy about your post. She is too nice to say anything to you about it, but I know there are some really smart people in Ontario, at least around Sudbury (which is where I have spent most of my time in Canada).
