[12-14-2004] The shrimp ramen

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

There is *always* a pack of shrimp flavored ramen, no matter how careful you are about not buying them. It is one of the great mysteries of the universe. I could tell you the reason, but I am afraid THEY would not be too hapy about it.

But if you promise not to tell anyone, then it's because ... *umpf* *struggle* *drag* *abduct*

Move along, people, nothing to see here.

I have a theory.
I always grab one when I buy several packs of Ramen because I always think

"Oh, this is nice and pink, I bet it taste just nice."

Then I Grab one or two, and it always ends up as the last ones eaten.

I don't buy it because I want too.
I buy it... because it's pink.

everyone send your shrimp ramen to james then!!:)

really in all seriousness it probably happens when you grab 2 or more packages at once (i usually grab about 8 2-handed), the shrimp one could have been somewhere in the middle and you don't notice it. i haven't had that trouble with shrimp flavoured, but on a couple occasions a package of spicy oriental sneaks in when i'm thinking i'm getting regular oriental and if i'm feeling brave enough i'll actually have the spicy oriental.

Oh ho ho. Why all the complaining? Greg is in a position that we all wish we could be in. I mean, if we were talking about food other than Ramen, out of all the flavors, Shrimp would be the delicacy. Dress up a little, candlelight, a final fantasy soundtrack playing in the background and shrimp ramen. 100% guarantee that Greg's getting laid on that night.

Oh... there is a difference between noodles and ramen?
Please explain.
I need to learn.

I have always thought ramen were noodles, and noodles where ramen.

nudel [subst. m.]
1. (matvare) noodle

that's what my dictionary says, and it doesn't even have ramen in it

I still think ramen is a brand:P
