D&D Map

Post by Vaeran » Fri Dec 17, 2004 1:17 am

long story short: i'm makin' a D&D campaign, but my map drawing skills sux @$$. anyone who can get me a large continent (no mountains, cities, physical features, etc) will have my thanks and a place in the credits. also, i dunno if i'll do this yet, but i might make you an NPC king/queen or someone important.

Also, anyone who can make me a good ninja and samurai teplate will also be thanked by being put into credits and maybe becoming important in my own little campaign...(for ninja, can you make it for stealth, not assasination, like the assasin prestige class in DM Guide)

last but not least, i will try to post any updates here(if this thread doesn't get deleted by mods). *wishes he could make this a sticky thread*

thanks fer reading, srry about the bad grammar.

Might I recomend the Rokugan books. They have the Ninja class and one of the best version of the Samarai class that Ive seen. (unlike the so-so version givin in the compleate warrior)

what Ive done for just outlines of land masses is held the pencil to paper, closed my eyes, and just drawn something close to an oval. Shifting inwards and outwards ocassionally. Do it a couple times and you will probally get something acceptable

As for a stealthy ninja - without creating an entirely new prestige class, you could look into modifying the Shadowdancer prestige class to fit your needs. If I have any free time I'll post a quickly thrown together version for you.

As far as maps go, PM me precisely what you want and I'll give it a go. :)
