How damn disgusting can humanity get?

Well, are you saying it's better to just let the fetus die with the mother? I'm not saying the reasons were good... I'm just saying as it happened, it was better than the kid outright dying in the womb.

Considering the report made it sound like she killed her so she could steal the baby, I'm baffled you could think that makes it any better.

Oh yes! She cut the baby out of her womb! How thoughtful and humane!

And no, before you try it, I would not have rathered the baby die. I would have rathered that the sick bitch not murder someone at all.

She's admitted to the crime, and she did it because she wanted a child. She even told her husband that she had given birth, and he left work and met her in a Topeka parking lot, and then they went home.

I don't think it's all that sad that there's such a long way down. It means that we've managed to climb a fair distance. Barring the occasional slip back down the path, I think we're still climbing at a fairly steady pace.

This whole thing sorta reminds me of that guy who killed his pregnant wife, which also killed the fetus. I can't think of his name right now, but I know that was also a pretty sickening story...
