I also got that shiney Marx Bros. DVD box set. I already sat and watched Duck Soup with my sister. :)
I'm sorry, Accer. I have to hate you now.

On the plus side, I did get some nice things...
 • George Foreman Grill
 • Set of 18v cordless power tools (drill, reciprocating and circular saws. wet/dry vac, and self-standing flashlight)
 • Laser leveler with tripod mount
 • Chia Garfield
 • 512MB USB key (damn, these things are fast)
 • A new tie
 • Two new button-down shirts, one blue and one grey
 • Mary Poppins 40th Anniversary DVD
 • A new robe
 • A book on presidents
 • A book on Special Forces
 • $50 Fry's gift certificate
That gift certificate is probably going to get used on a new Saitek X70 joystick/throttle combination.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

What I got for Xmas:

-a box of candy, box of Cinnamon Altoids and a pack of gum (ok, who's trying to say something?)

-a gift bag from the USO with a wristwatch, UNO cards, and a couple other things (all that is going to my son)

-the opportunity to go to an excellent Midnight Mass; the chaplains really did a good job with it

-MOST IMPORTANTLY--I got to see all the guys in my unit fly out of Iraq, and know that they are going home in a couple of days. I'm very happy and grateful that the people in my section, my brothers-in-arms, are safe and on their way back to the States. I can't wait to meet back up with them in January. That's the best present I could ask for.

Rubik's Cube
Can you solve it yet? ;)

I, myself, was the proud recipient of:

-A new rubik's cube, too (I broke the last one - it jammed and flew apart)
-$50 cash, total
-A 2CD Sonic Animation album ("Orchid for the Underworld... or maybe not")
-A 3CD Depeche Mode album.
-A book: NERDS: A brief history of the internet
-Another book, this time an illustrated set of four stories by Edgar Allen Poe. It's mucho cool.
-About half my own body weight in assorted forms of refined-sugar.
-Four thinkgeek.com t-shirts. They're still in the mail. Damn you, UPS!
-Cookies and truffles and assorted homemade yummies.

Well, I wasn't expecting anything other than except maybe a ball cap from my son but my mom and sisters managed to surprise me this year. My mom and oldeder sister got together and got me a 40gig iPod. When my sister found out about it she looked up the accessories for it and found a place that custom paints iPods then puts a clear coat of somekind on it to protect it. All in all I guessing they spent roughly $475 US on me this year, thats about 400 bucks more than they normally give me. Nedless to say I'm pretty stoaked to see it as soon as it gets here!

Every year they do that. It's always a 1X, when I need a 3X. Big and tall man here.

My sister got that for her husband. She told him she heard it wasn't very good just so he wouldn't buy it, and he believed her, like it was some movie he had never seen before.
