Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

I'm not addicted to WoW. I can stop any time I want to. No, really I can.

Watch me.

I was thinking about making a Shirt Ninjas guild on Magthridon, though I doubt may people would get it, and I wouldn't want to deny anyone here a shot to make one.

And yes the game is more crack for computer gamers. I'm actually enjoying it more than I did FFXI.

aww i dont want tohave to make another char but if i must i must, eh?

we'd have to have a chat about which server we go on, and we'd also have to see how the population is on the servers

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/

so nice, i reccomend people install the census mod that they have and help it out, once i get it working right (the directory mentioned didn't actually exist..., specifically Interface, yet there was Interface under the Data directory, so i made AddOns there, and that didnt work, so i'll have to get to work on it)

edit: and just now i realize maybe the version number was old in the files, will have to edit that sometime and see if that fixes it
hahaha i don't come to these forums anymore :x

I wouldn't mind making a new char if I had to. We'd all be starting out and could help each other level quickly.

But my current char is level 14 so it's not a huge loss for me.

I've already made like 20 characters. I have a hard time sticking to one because rarely is there a character that has everything I want in a character...this is why I never got past lvl 25 in FFXI, and my cousin hit 50, his girlfriend hit 50, her brother hit 60....

TopCat: If the Interface directory doesn't exist, create it. Addons go in "DirectoryYouInstalledWarcraft\Interface\AddOns\AddOnName". They work, trust me, I wrote one.

Can you still sign up to the BETA, or is it to late?

See, you know what I think would be great? If you could sign up for a trial period of maybe 30 days, something like that. Download it, install it, create an account, and if you decide you want to buy it, great, go buy it and "upgrade" your account from a trial to a permanent account.

Do you mean: "Doh, sign up for a trial, and stop bitchin'", or do you mean: "Damn Blizzard for not having a trial-version!!!"?

I mean I wish more companies would take that approach. Why, is there a free, downloadable trial I can get started with, and I'm just unaware of it?

Not as such. If you know a friend with a copy of the Collector's Edition (regular edition won't suffice) they might still have their one copy of a 10-day trial edition that you can try. But you'll have to install the game off their media, I don't think you can still download the game from anywhere.

It's kinda stupid, though - I never would have bought WoW if I hadn't been able to play for free in the open beta. They really should offer a free downloadable trial edition. (I think 10 days is probably reasonable for a trial offer.)
