I live in *sigh* Arkansas... where it has been about 70 degrees during the day in mid-winter. We did get a pretty decent snow about 2 days before Christmas though. I prefer the mild weather(Spring) to the Cold or Hot temperatures.

I moved to Arkansas when I was four... moved back to NJ almost six years later, in 1999.... I remember the southern winters, and how the few times it snowed, the top quarter inch or so would melt and refreeze and melt and refreeze, so there was a hard, icy layer on top with about an inch of real snow under it. The school I went to almost always closed when there was any snow at all.

Wow...I made a topic on the worst date conversation of all time and it's still going strong in here. You people defy all rational thought.

On a different note, some of the snow has melted which is actually worse than it staying. It ran into the streets, rained some and then froze over leaving every road an ice slick waiting to send me spinning to my doom. I'm just glad I don't live on a hill.

Its not as bad as it usually is in the middle of January here in Chicago, but snow sucks. Damn those who haven't seen snow before if they come up here for one winter season, they'll want to go back whereever they were before. Snow sucks, the cold sucks and walking to school at 7-something in the morning. If it's spring, (which it should be all the time, or fall), then I don't care, I enjoy it, but not in snow. The weather should stay somewhere withing 70-75 F at all times.
