First rule of WoW: we don't talk about WoW 7/01/05

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Honestly, who really reads the TOS? They could say that by agreeing to install this game, the "publisher" will take possession of your home and gains the right to sell your children as slaves in Hong Kong. Greg had better watch out for Blizzard assassins.

I, too went in search of WoW post-holiday season only to find that it was sold out EVERYWHERE. Much frustration resulted.

This, of course, only increased my interest in obtaining the game.

I guess I have one advantage to living in rural Minnesota. People here are still struggling with the concept of using a computer, much less trying to figure out was a MMORPG is.

The local Walmart always has a few copies on hand.

Gah. Silly backwards dates. Try a more international date format that makes sense, progressing from larger to smaller blocks of time, such as: 2005-01-07

Luckily for him, assassination isn't one of the tasks I randomly do...at least not on the first day in a forum.

Man. You can tell ZenGyro is from the midwest.

I hate it when us midwesterners place possessives on store names like that. Or other proper named products. Once, when I was bartending, I had a person with her husband ask for "Captains and coke" So I brought her two. Apparently she only wanted one "Captains" and I neglected to take her husband's order. Who undoubtedly wanted a margerita made with Sauzas. Or perhaps be just wanted a Labattes. I think I'll go write a rant!!!!

Not every midwesterner abuses possessives. Me, I abuse periods.

MWAHAHAHAHA!

And no I have never read the ToS. I figure I'll pick it up as my characters start disappearing. Shouldn't take long. The members of Blizzard's staff that I...uh, acquired phone numbers from have stopped picking up so I may be due for a suspension soon. What does "restraining Order" mean?

Bah, I say day-month-year makes the most sense, because it goes in numerical order, but instead of big to small, the smallest time increment (the most immediately useful in most cases), to the biggest.

Every tried sorting files by dd/mm/yy? Regardless, in written communication, especially in an international community, it can often be rendered moot by simply taking the time to type an extra key in the form of the month's 3-letter abbreviation, like so: 07 Jan 05, or Jan 07, 05, etc...
