Todays Comic 1/13/05

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Now invite 50 of us to the wedding greg! :D

BETTER yet, when you choose 50 of us then they'll get an appearance in a VERY special Reallife Comic that stars us as background characters at the wedding, anyone agree?

Did I miss a memo? Is this for real? If so, Congrats Gred and Liz! What a surprise...

Secondarily:
TwinTurbo -> Allow me to add:

Code: Select all

this.Cheer(100, 200, 100);

public void Cheer( int clap_count, int clap_degrees, int clap_speed )
{
	this.FacialExpression = FacialExpressions.Smile;

	if(clap_degrees > 200)
 clap_degrees = 200;

	if(clap_count <= 0)
 clap_count = 1;

	for(int i=0; i<clap_count; ++i)
	{
 this.Arms.ExtendDegrees(clap_degrees);
 this.Arms.ExtendDegrees(0);
 System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(clap_speed);
	}
}

:D
Quick question: What language is that supposed to be in? It looks like C++, but in C++ this is a pointer, and so you have to dereferance it rather than access it (that is, do this->Cheer(a,b,c) rather than this.Cheer(a,b,c)).
looks like Java to me.
congratulations!
Take lots o' pics for us forum members! :mrgreen:

.....does this mean that there are going to be comics of wedding itself?
or will greg just put up guest strips during the wedding/honeymoon (im assuming thats what you're doing, that or making the strips in advance).

If i were 18, and had money, i would totaly donate money to you guys...but im 17 and broke. :(
May your love last forever.
If there ever was an event that called for guest comics, then the honeymoon is it.

Congrats you two.

Hey! Congratulations to both of you! I don't post very often, but for such a momentous occasion, I felt I had to put in my comments.

I've been visiting this website for almost an entire year now. I've seen the cast go through good times and...not so good times. I've read posts where Greg was discouraged and under pressure, and others when he was happy and in good spirits. But through it all, he has managed to post a comic almost every day, when sometimes I don't even check my email every day. That shows a lot of discipline and reliability. I've read about times where he has taken control of his life and changed it's course for the better simply by making a decision, and that shows strength and an ability to be cool (in both definitions of the word :) ) under pressure. And on a personal note, the comic has really blessed me and gotten me through some hard times when humor seemed to be the only thing going right in my life.

Not that there aren't great things to be said about Liz as well. I don't know how much stock I can put in the accuracy of the comic, but since art is an extension of your self, I tend to think that it has some reliability. I've seen that Liz has been an excellent match for Greg as she will be grounded, able to make a "reality check" when Greg does some of his more crazy antics. I can also tell that she is intelligent and generally a wonderful woman. That's always a good thing. :D

I think that you two will be very successful and happy together and look forward to reading many more comics on the subject.

May your hardships be trivial, your triumphs great, and your days filled with happiness and laughter.

Congratulations to the both of you...

I'll write something and post it here later, but for now, as I'm tired and slightly sick, that will have to do.

just curious Greg, did you propose to her the way you did in the comic?? that was so sweet!!

ALRIGHT EVERYONE! ALL FANS OF GREG DEAN SHOUT TOGETHER NOW~ HIP HIP HURRAY!!

oh another thing. just an idea. maybe the wedding could be held in space you know, like Tony built some space station and there can be asteroids fireworks and stuff. think about it . or maybe an underwater evil lair or smth hahaha
