Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh.

Since there seem to be a lot of us from Seattle we should have a gathering to make Greg and Liz feel welcome.
If Greg will give us an ETA for their move we could setup something a week or two later to give them time to settle in.
PM or email (alora at alorabrooks.com) if interested!

The weekend after the wedding; something tells me we should defiantly have to party about a week after you move in.
Any chance you will need help getting stuff unpacked and organized; I have nothing to do on almost any weekend.

I'll bring the Bawls! (Can someone post how many people are expected? I need to know to know how much of it to buy. Greg and Liz can keep the extra.)
And probably some other food. Anyone here like ravioli? Well, you're gonna like, dag nabit!

I would say about 15-20 people from the looks of the posts from Seattle people in the "Move to Seattle, yo!" thread. So far at least 4 are confirmed.

If only I had a good excuse to go to Seatle at that time! Too bad that'll still be in the school year. Sometimes I love teaching. Othertimes... yeah.
I could hook you up with the Eagle's Club in Gig Harbor, if you wanted to go that far/needed room. Last time I checked, my Aunt still ran the place.

Sounds like I should plan to visit my aunt who lives "in the Seattle area" that week.
("Uh, it's a big state. Where 'in the Seattle area?'" "I dunno." "Thanks, Dad.")
I'm fairly sure she actually lives a fair distance away (like an hour or two) from Seattle, but I have no idea
where.

Heh, I like how everyone assumes they're invited or wanted there.

It is a party thrown by the fans, everyone is invited pretty much.

It says "house warming" - presumably that would involve everyone gathering together in their apartment, unless you mean "welcome party at the local pub" or something.

Eh its the thought that counts. If it occurs or not its up to the Dean's in the end. ( would kinda be silly to have the party without them)

Ok, so it looks like people are interested, now we need to decide where to do this.
I'm not sure Greg and Liz are going to want a whole bunch of crazy fans invading their new love nest a week after they move in...so, any ideas?
Should probably do it relatively close to where they are going to live, so anyone with THAT info, share!

Based on my experiences moving, you'll want to hold any party about a week after they've moved in at the earliest. Otherwise they're going to be
way too frazzled to be coherent and have fun. Give 'em time to settle first. Moving is freaking
stressful.
On that note, you might wanna start soliciting guest comics
now, Greg.
