Dudes, I must remind you, ALL volkswagens are indestructible! My bug has been severely neglected, it sat for two years without doing a thing, it's had a pool of water in the floor two inches deep! THE DANG THINGS JUST WILL NOT DIE! I can guarantee that the only thing that woulda broke in that car would have been the goshdang manual window cranks.

there's a beatle on the road (heard it on npr) that just broke a million miles on the od. sure, the engine's been replaced a couple times, and they replaced the body...and the mufflers/breaks/etc... rewired it a time or two....but the bug lives on!
