Suicidal guy changes mind, kills 11 others instead

Post by Tomahawk » Thu Jan 27, 2005 2:31 pm

What an idiot... first he wants to commit suicide so he parks his car on the track, then he changes his mind and gets out of the car to go watch the crash. 11 people died in that crash (and even though I can't find it in the news report, the news here said 200+ injured of which 40 were in bad shape).

Now he's been brought to court and could possibly get the death penalty.

Anyone in favor of that? I know I am.

That guy is a dumbass. Fry him. He didn't care about the other 11 people.

EDIT 1/27/05 9:05 pm: it seems he at least tried to move the car out of the way so maybe the death penalty is harsh. But he should get a good amount of jail time

i don't hate everyone equally, there are levels. but none of them are the traditionally thought of standards for predjudice. its not based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation its based on how much the person annoys me personally. i count you as a friend since you annoy me very little. brittney spears is an enemy because even though i don't know her/care about her at all she still finds a way to annoy me every time i turn on the tv

If he does get the death penalty, I suppose his original goal of suicide will have been accomplished.

On the one hand, he's a dumbass bastard.

But on the other, I don't support the death penalty, so no I don't hope he gets it.

Furthermore, unless he intended to kill other people, I don't believe he should be tried for murder, either, as murder requires this thing called intent.

I think they should do for him what he wanted in the first place and tie him to the tracks.

He will kill himself in jail bort. Even if he is released, he could not leave with the death of 11 people. In any case, his life will be shortened I think. :(
