They don't *have* to take the job, they just lose unemployment if they don't.
And considering they get unemployment for a year before it can be taken away for refusing to take that "job", they're still better off than other countries (like, as I pointed out in the other topic, the USA, which only offers unemployment for six months).

oh just to set the record straight it seems that its a theorectical situation, while they could lose benefits no one actually has yet. Its merely a loop hole in their legal system that hasn't been cleared up yet.
