Everybody Loves Ramen

Okay, I'm sitting here and eating, for breakfast, the college student staple of Ramen. And this random question popped into my head. So, with or without broth?

Noodles while sipping the broth, and then wash it all down with most of the rest of the broth, except for the bit at the end that's full of all the flavor and stuff that didn't entirely dissolve.

I like the whole thing, but I ate so much ramen in a brief time period that I'm now kinda sick of it. At least the cheap stuff. There's an Asian food store down the street from me that probably sells better ramen.

Definately noodles + broth. Wash down the noodles and veggies with the broth, then wash down the broth with some nice soda

Hmm.. I love Ramen and for some reason, watching some anime-shows really makes me wanna eat it. XD
I love the broth too, but I eat it mostly for the ramen.

Why the hell would you eat just ramen anyway? It's not nutritious, it doesen't even fill you up much.
Eating properly isn't that expensive, if you know how to cook.

But see, cooking requires a stove or an oven...things dorms do not have. Now, true, you can access a microwave in the dorms, but not that often you'll encounter a stove or an oven. So, ramen it is. Or canned food.

That and people are lazy and don't want to cook all the time. Even the British are like that from time to time, so don't go off on a thing about "All American's are lazy, thank you for proving that"

Knowing how to cook helps. Sadly, I can only do breakfasts. And it is far more efficent to go to our cafiteria and eat breakfast there.

And my dorm does have a oven. A single oven for about 50 people. That, and you got to provide your own dishes. Something I do not have. So, until that day. Viva la Ramen! :shifty:

I wish I had chosen instant noodles as my lunch today. Instead I bought a fresh fish from the market and thought it would not be difficult to cook it a good meal for lunch. It proved I’m stupid. I wind up with a slash on my right thumb and a burnt meal. Never thought that I’d be freak out by holding a dead fish. Weird.

I have to have the brooth to go with the noodles. The thing is you have to get the right amount of brooth to noodle amount. For me it is about 1/2 to 3/4 brooth to noodle.
