That's a beautiful car, though the wheels don't look quite right on it in my humble and likely ill-informed opinion, and it sounds good enough to dry hump, but how are you keeping the car still while you burn out?

PS You might want to give this post and this post a quick read.

I find it feels a tad claustrophobic when inside, but it does look nice. Though, the best argument for the gray is that it was the color from Back to the Future, and that's why I bought the car in the first place. It's all about the movie.

Ah, well then, whatever floats your boat :)

The father of a friend of mine from a few years back had one in his garage that he'd bought, and while it needed mechanical attention to get it running properly (it had been sitting, neglected, in storage for a long time), cosmetically it was nearly flawless, and the black leather interior was not only comfortable but was also so aesthetically pleasing that it was just...I don't know, luxurious, I guess.

The wheels LOOK like Torq Thrust's, though I can't quite tell. They're a very common choice for older domestics. Though, I will question why he has (what looks to be) 185's on the rear of that Mustang? I mean, hell, if I had tires that skinny on the Camry I could probably light 'em up too. Gorgeous car though.

Deacon, that's either him holding the brake and the gas (front wheels have bigger breaks, back wheels have power, which is certainly what it looks like from the last section of the video), a line lock (which accomplishes the same concept) or so on and so forth. As I said ^^^ there too, they're also skinnnny tires.

I love the Delorean, I do I do. Though, you do have a loose wire under your dash though... Only has one wirenut on it.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the wheels, but what I meant was that they're a) too big and b) too bright (near-)white to look proper. Great design, though.

Thanks Deacon for the comments, the camera doesn't do the wheels justice. In person they are polished aluminum, almost chrome like, very aesthetically pleasing. The size is 16" which is to accommodate the larger disc brakes that were installed up front. And the tire width, well, on these cars you can only go so wide with out relocating the leaf springs and mini tubbing it.

The Burn out is a line lock as Infin8Cyn suggested, just trying out the new toys!!

All I need now is a posi trac and Ill be in business!!!! :D

Oh, I know. I'm looking at doing something as such to my car. It's either 325's for me, or mini-tubbing it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! Heh. I've never been in an accident in my life. Er, not while I was driving anyways.

Why the emanage? I don't see anything in the mod list that would imply it's use.

wanted to get it installed before I got boosted. I also use it to pull timing and to lean out the fuel curve a bit. I was getting a bit rich in the top end so I dialed back a little. Not too sure if I want to keep the eManage or not once I get boosted. I really want to check out the new AEM F/I Controller.

In tuning with eManage, I traded a gain of 10hp for a loss of 3tq. My N/A goals were to hit 200hp, but it doesn't see to be worth the money to build the block it. I already have 9.6:1CR from the factory so instead of looking for 10.5:1 pistons, I would just bolt on some forced induction and slowly build the block for that route.
