The New Age Group Poll

Post by Fixer » Thu Feb 10, 2005 4:13 pm

Well, the old one was, well, old. Some of us are no longer in our old age group, so here's a new one that should last another year. In fact, I'll make it expire in 365 days, just to make certain.

Following the considerations brough up in previous complaints about the poll, the age groups are going to be distributed slightly differently.

What, you're now in a young age group? Share your secrets!

Just kidding. You're all ripe for parody!

Feel free. As long as people are respectful I have no problems with parody.

I'm still shooting to get back into the 25-29 age group again, but the women keep telling me no. :-(

If it is any consolation, you are still younger than me, darlin'.

I guess, logically, you always will be. Take heart in that.

Funny how that works, huh? I also will always be younger than my husband, although he keeps lying about his age when people ask... isn't it supposed to be the woman who does that??? Unfortunately he gets away with it... people constantly think he's 19 and he's 32! Damn him!

I have been told I look in my early 20s.

I tell those people they should drink less beer.

22 here.

It's funny ... just as I was driving back from class, I realized, you know, fully, I'm no longer a teenager, and haven't been for two, heading towards two and a half years.

I'm a fucking adult. I'm a premature old man yelling at kids for being dumb but at least now I'm not a teenager myself.

I'm still in college, because it took too long to find what I want to do. People I know are getting married, or graduating, and GAH, it's like, "oh my god damn it".

... But I'm becoming a video game designer so hey, I'm still a child at heart. :D

Its just funny to be thinking about that, and then here's this poll.
"He who lives by the sword dies by my arrow."

"In your histories, there are continual justifications for all manner of hellish actions. Claims of nobility and heritage and honor to cover up every bit of genocide, assassination, and massacre. At least the Horde is honest in their naked lust for power."

21.

I tend to forget my age and usually answer "19" to people who ask. I've been doing it unintentionally since I was 18.

There is something really weird about being able to say "When I was a teenager....". I feel so grown up and so not grown up at the same time. I don't doubt I still often act 19. It's easy to get away with, since most people assume I'm younger than that. I still haven't been able to embrace adulthood, yet at the same time, I'm not clinging onto my teen years, either. OMG, I'm having a quarter life crisis! :P
