Hey now, these are hillbillies, not rednecks. There's a major difference.

Now your getting it. You have studied well about the timid creatures of the hills and wooded areas, which only come out in a magnifant sight once a year, where they gather together in a small town and get drunk and right a spiny UFO carnvil ride.

I've picked up on the redneck lingo in my new adopted state of Georgia. It was easy actually. Just a bunch of "wheeee-ooooooo"ing and snorting. This is one of the few places in the world where fatigues can help you better to blend into a crowd of people than a forest.

being from central New York, I am very fluent in the translation of hick to English. I've even been tempted to create a translation dictionary, but I'm afraid I can't spell most of the hick dialect.

Many people at school enjoy my hick impression

when impersonating a hick be sure to have at least a wad of chewing tobacco in your mouth if not a cigarette. Also remember that the word "roof" is pronounced "ruff" and "creek" is pronounced "crick". There are many other requirements for an accurate impersonation, but they involve wearing plaid and not bathing for extended periods of time.
