A possible new comic?

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

bleh... one day Greg you'll get tired of hearing my views and maybe try and get me banned with the mod's help, I know this storyline is great and everything but when did you realise that you would lose the challenge as soon as you get hitched.

Slowly this is making me want to get away...then again it'll be hard to find a new comic perhaps if I joined Least I Could Do?

Yeah, unfortunately Greg would never find time to do a whole other comic in addition to Real-Life.

I have two words for you Greg.

Franchise......

Hmmmm.... Ummmm.... I know there was supposed to be two....

.....

Nope.... can't remember the other word.

Sorry.

Not necessarily. There's the prospect of doing comics in advance and having someone post them for the duration of his wedding and the honeymoon, and while it would be difficult to get back into the swing of things following the honeymoon, it wouldn't be impossible.

And if you think about it, it's also a way of building discipline. Even if his loss were inevitable, and he knew this, he would still be putting out one comic every weekday as long as humanly possible, and that's a very difficult and awesome thing to do. I'm certainly pumped about the increased output.

Heh no problem about the hijacking, i was mostly joking ;) (But if you do it again ive got a battalion of armed dwarfes waiting with a sledgehammer just outside of your bedroom..Try me)

Whoho! I got not ONE, not TWO, but THREE Greg Responses in my first ever thread :D Now i am ever so happy!

Anyways, good points people, it seems like everyone would love a totally new comic (more fictional, i would assume) but noone wants to see RLC gone/lessened, and that it would be, well impossible, for him to do both at once...

So, ive got a direct question for Greg. Have you ever considered going pro? Im thinking there must be willing publishers for you now, since RLC have become such a hit. Maybe then we could see a new comic, AND RLC at once!

I'd personally liked to see his OLD comic fully. did The Forge ever get an actual conclusion?

What we should do is try and push Greg over the edge... I mean, lets get two updates a day, morning comic, and evening comic.... heheh It can be a Spin off really, maybe starring Tony and attempts at conquering the globe, or maybe Tony gets lost in space, or... well he could go the sliders route.... heheh

You goddamn hippie. ;)

I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this, but nah, the Forge just kinda fell flat on its face. Don't get me wrong, it was a cool comic with a lot of potential (NTM the signature art style... well yeah) but I guess other things just got in the way (far be it from me to deride/question the author -- said things ain't my bid'ness.). Forgive me, but I would be surprised (albeit very pleasantly so) to see a new Forge strip in the coming future. I'd love to see the story concluded.

probably won't happen 'till after the iron man thing is over at the earliest
i don't hate everyone equally, there are levels. but none of them are the traditionally thought of standards for predjudice. its not based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation its based on how much the person annoys me personally. i count you as a friend since you annoy me very little. brittney spears is an enemy because even though i don't know her/care about her at all she still finds a way to annoy me every time i turn on the tv

As I understood it, The Forge was a strip done for that website, where-in they paid Greg to do a comic on swords and they then they didn't and so then he didn't.

Aside from that, I did enjoy it, though I tend to enjoy most things with a continuing storyline heh, I always want to know how it ends.
