Another Star Wars Trilogy?

Does anyone know if Lucas is planning another Star Wars Trilogy after RotS? If so, will new actors portray Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca? Or will new characters be used?

He was planning to do it for a while, but as of a couple years ago he dropped the idea..

Lucas didn't make 1-3 earlier because of the death of his wife. He only came back to them when his kids graduated. 7-9 are not going to be made.

7-10 (i understand there are actually 4 after the middle 3) will not be made, according to him, because there have been too many books and stories written about what happens "after" everything happens in the middle 3 and to even attempt to do them would be too compkicated, trying to make sure everyhting is correct and not stepping on any other books.

No, there were suppose to be 9 movies. Like I said before he didn't make 1-3 ealier because of his wifes death and he is getting to old to make 7-9.

Yeah... He's never had any concern for overwriting the LucasArts approved expanded universe books

I heard that was why he didn't make 1-3 first. I also read in an article somewhere that he had no plans for 7-9.

his first plans were for 3 trilogies...but 2-3 years ago he said that he was too old to make one more trilogy. After all the star wars films were about anakin, from his birth to his fall and his redeption. I imagine the next one would be about luke and leia and anakin helping them until vanishing or something...who knows :shifty:
