My Favorite Fighting game is Virtual Fighter 4 Evolution. Mortal Kombat is too violent for my tastes, and I haven't played any king of Fighters games, although I want to...

Guilty Gear. Particularly XX/X2, but I haven't played Isuka yet.

Fight For NY, because it's the only one I can regularly trash other people at.

Hm ... Soul Calibur is fun, but I suck at it so it's not so much fun against people who really know what they're doing. Same with the Guilty Gear stuff, which is too bad 'cause it seems fun, too.

For some reason I've never really been a big fan of Virtua Fighter - Tekken's coo', though.

Actually, I'm going to have to say Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, played on a console. Bright, cartoony violent chaos and even if you're not that good you can do reasonably good at it. Yeah, it's not all that deep, and its a bit unbalanced, but its FUN, so, so what? :D

My favourite is Ranma ½ - Chougi Rambuhen on the Super Nintendo. It's Ranma ½ and it's also pretty easy to play.

I think I will go with either Guilty Gear XX or Soul Calibur 2. Guilty Gear XX has all the uber crazy combos and counters and all that to enjoy to my hearts content. Whilst Soul Calibur 2 is much more of a raw beatdown.

I like the Dead Or Alive series, even though it's kind of cheesy.

Really though, I think my all time favorites would be Soul Calibur, both 1 and 2 were fantastic. Used to play a lot of MK, although never was very good at it.

I've got to say the original arcade version of Street Fighter 2
Y'know, the unit where you could sit down and had all six buttons. You see 'em all the time nowadays but that game was the first I saw using it.

Fighting games are the suck for the most part. The only good one out there is Soul Calibur 2. Primal Rage for the Genesis was ok, too...

I think that if you do not like fighting games, than you probably shouldn't be in this topic.
Maybe this is just me, maybe I am crazy.
