03/28/2005 - GT4 DeLorean

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

In most cases, I would agree. Then I player Star Wars: Battlefront...

You almost made me lose it in class! Thanks for the internal (nearly external) laugh, Deacon.

Subject related comment: The DeLoreans rock. Some company should redesign them with new materials or just design a new car with the DeLorean in mind.

The trouble is, any company who did it nowadays would forget the main purpose of the DeLorean - a sensible sports car. It's supposed to be an exotic car that's not impossible to own. Any company who made something along those lines these days would make it some unattainably high price, forgetting the spirit of the DeLorean.

Yeah, but where are you going to get the weapons grade plutonium needed to power the flux capacitor. And I was sadly disappointed when nothing happened when I hit 88 mph.

But nothing was cooler than saying "Alright let's see if you bastards can do 90" to my friends before the race started.

I heard the story on that from Penny Arcade:
(Marines --> SWAT) + (Demons --> Mutations) - Phobos/Deimos = Sucky movie.

and thanks for the info Greg. I usually hate the GT series, but I'm going to get GT4 just for the DeLorean. It's about time they recognized the coolness of it.

Thought this was kind of spiffy - http://www.entermyworld.com/articles/mo ... may81.html

It's the Motor Trend article from when it came out. Actually reassured me a bit. :)

The only movie to video game conversion I've ever liked - Willow. Kicks ass.
I need fewer water.
