i heard on the news yesterday that sony is getting sued for using the dualshock 2 for the ps2. which is very stupid because didnt they start doin dualshock for ps1? i mean what is that! they said more news will await. damn fox news channel!

A company that holds some patents relating to vibrating controllers sued Sony and Microsoft for patent infringement. MS settled out of court for about $26 million, but Sony decided to take it to court and lost. Now they're not supposed to sell Playstations and PS2s until things are settled, but I heard they made some sort of a deal that allows them to keep their systems on the shelves, provided they pay licensing fees to the patent company (can't remember the name). Check any major gaming news site; they'll have the scoop.
