Life at 2 AM

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Bah! That's better English than most posts I see in supposedly English speaking forums.
From now on, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put.

Working at 2am constitutes GRAVEYARD shift. Which I work. I freely admit to being a zombie. And a vampire. A vampire-zombie. A Vambie? Zompire? Oh forget it, it's bedtime (9am).

There are other creatures that are known to frequent the night. Like Bogies. So if you were a Bogie, Vampire, Zombie then you could be a Bambie.

Just trying to be helpful.

I work the graveyard shift too... I've been called a 'creature of the night'. I suppose you can't get more vague than that.

I just slept at a Best Western (which apparently has paper-thin walls) in a room that was next to A) the ice machine and B) the service elevator. THUNKA-THUNK-CRASH-CRASH-CRASH. Oh, good, the ice machine has more ice now.

At least you could yell at the kid...

(Plus, turns out there was a tour group staying at the same hotel. Lots of kids running around the halls at 7AM getting ready for the tour. And to think, last time my company sent me to Washington DC they were able to get me into the Hilton. Sigh.)

I figure that people who work grave *must* be vampires. I mean, I consume unhealthy amounts of caffine and often refer to it as "My lifes blood". During the day, I avoid the sun, and stay in a small unlit room. :: shrug :: Works for me...

Got something against Vampires ?
Perfectly good citizens, pay taxes, do their work
and then people like YOU go and start attacking us, naively thinking "they are dead, they much be evil" i mean, come on, if we were evil would we bother to pay taxes ? really ?

You know, I guess I can't complain if they're paying taxes. Your taxes pay my salary (I work for the Department of Veteran Affairs).
