Today's comic (4/18)

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

What a coincidence. My friends hate me, too.

I don't like cages. They make me...cagey. Then again, so does the Air Force.

Also, I wasn't trying to start anything about opinions. I just wasn't sure if you were serious or not.

See, by that logic, the American version of "The Office" would rule as well, which it most decidedly does NOT.

Look, the whole brawl scene was funny - I'll admit that. But my problem with the movie is that frankly, I could have written the dialogue. I'm not a good writer. I'm not THAT funny. I expect that when I see a movie, it should be something unexpected - something that catches you off guard. I found it very, very predictable... and with humor, that just doesn't cut it.

It also utterly failed to be timeless. In fact, it's already dated. You are the weakest link. Goodbye.

Wow... did someone just accuse someone else of being dated in the same breath as quoting Weakest Link?

MrBawn, you get 100 irony points.

(The ironic part is there's no point)

Always thought you liked mindless entertainment...

I liked Anchorman. I got a used copy for free when I bought Ju-On (at blockbuster). It's not my favorite comedy, but it makes me chuckle. It IS stupid, but that's the point. I like the occasional dumb movie, but if it's all I got, I'd be pretty sick of them. Anchorman is one of the rare movies that came along when I wanted to watch a mindless flick, so it stuck with me as something good.

I didn't like Anchorman.

Like most people, it seems, though, I DID get a massive kick out of the brawl ...

... the rest? Man, if it had lived up to that ... hell, it had potential, but ... nope.

I agree with you whole hardily on this Greg. Couldn't of said it better, but I do have a short version of it......it sucked.
