christ on a crutch... i don't know what to say...
Lucas Announces "Star Wars" TV Show Plans.
yeah... just thought i'd let everyone know

"The three branches would in essence police each other with an elaborate system of safeguards and precautions that would prevent power from being concentrated in too few hands,' Quipped a jubilant (Alexander) Hamilton, 'The only way it could fail is if one party gained control of not just the Executive, but also the Senate and House chambers, and upon doing so, proceeded to bring in like-minded judges!!!' And then the Framers all laughed and laughed and laughed."

damn, when i read "Lucas Drops Bomb at Convention" i thought it might have been something funny, like Georgey boy having caused a building evac due to a rather stinky fart. rather then him announcing yet another spin off to what can only really be described as the worst successfull scifi movie series of all time. i am completely unsurprised.

Why must people suck the life out of everything that was once good and pure?

Need I bring

Lucas would sell his own mother for a Canadian nickel.

Heh, before even clicking the link, I knew what you were linking to, HTRN.
Man, I wish I'd been able to see that.

No, no you do not.
I had actually seen it when I was six.
A black hole of mediocrity. The one saving grace is Lucas wasn't greedy enough to produce "Star Wars on ice"<shudder>

You say that now, but after seeing this, you'll be taking a kerosene shower to get the stink of lucas's greed off of you.

Hey now... give the idea some credit! If they did it really well, like SG-1 or Gallactica,... It'd still suck.

Yeah, you could -actually- do a good show. What happens, say, if you cross Band of Brothers with Clone Troopers?
... and it would be interesting to see how a show with Jedi for villains would go over. o.o

THAT could be pretty interesting, what with the lightsaber duels and all. If only to wait for someone dressed as Vader on skates to fall over.
